Unread mail items

I don't use Outlook much but the last time I started it up I got some
unwanted mail items. I deleted them all. Now, every time I start up XP
it says I have 11 unwanted mail items. The comment is under the
password with my login user name. How do I get rid of them?

Please download the TweakUI.exe from this website.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

Install the Tweak UI and you shall find it under Start --> All programs -->
Poertoys for Windows XP --> Tweak UI.

Once you are inside the Tweak UI, one the left had side you would find
Repair. Click on Repair.

Now in the right hand side, click on the drop down menu and select Repair
Unread Mail count and then click on the "Repair Now" button.

This should help you get rid of the issue.

Hope this helps!!!

Please download the TweakUI.exe from this website.

Thanks, but after I posted the message I found the registry entry for
unread mails. I set the counts to zero and the problem was fixed.
