Unread Mail Search folder Broken in Ooutlook 2007

Since I took the general Windows & Office April software update my Unread
Mail Search folder seems to be broken.

The symptoms are that I cannot mark them as read in the normla way and that
the number being reported is incorrect and nothing to do with the number of
e-mails in the list itself.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
