Unread message count wrong

I'm experiencing a recurring problem. Sometimes my unread message count for my inbox shows I have unread messages even though they are all read.

I rebuilt the database a couple of weeks ago when I first experienced this problem (it did solve it) but am hesitant to rebuild again. Is there a permanent solution?

Downloading Entourage 12.1.1 hasn't helped.

I have also experienced this problem. I recently updated and it fixed it but today, when I ran the software update for the Mac OS, then restarted, it is happening again.

I am going to continue researching, if I find anything of value, I will post.
