Unread Messages

Windows XP
MS Office 2003
Outlook 2003

Problem:
My welcome screen shows that my XP login account has 4
unread messages. My wife's XP login account works OK.

I've already done:
Delete ALL messages
Remove .NET passport
Check my POP3 mail via webmail
Remove all E-Mail accounts from Outlook
Use "search folders" to search for unread messages
Reboot (over and over again)

Solutions Needed:
Remove this Office feature completely
Remove this Office feature from my account only
Fix the problem and keep the feature

I could not find your reply to Ron Byrd’s problem. I too have “2 unread mail messages†displayed on my welcome screen when there are no unread messages in Outlook.

There are no unread messages in either Outlook or Outlook Express.
