Unread Status

I am using Outlook 2000 with a POP server not Exchange. I am using XP SP2

I am using Plaxo, SpamBeyes, NoSpyMail and ActiveSync add-ins.

I do not use the Preview pane, but open emails in a new window (by double
clicking on them).

When I read an email it stays with its unread status and I have to manually
mark it as read.

Does anyone know if any of the add-ins cause this behaviour, or whether
there is a known Outlook problem (the KB only had an Outlook 2003 problem for
this)
