Unreadable content?

J446

I have been working on a large project for a couple of weeks with no
problems. When I went to open it today a message told me that it cannot be
opened because there are problems with the content.
I hit OK.
Another message pops up saying word found unreadable content do you want to
recover.
I hit YES.
The original message pops up again and nothing else happens when I hit OK
again.
I need help, this is not a project I can just redo, I have atleast 20 pages
that I have to have on tuesday.... please help.

Try opening it using the "Recover text from any file" option available by
using the pulldown for the file type in the File>Open dialog.

But working for two weeks on a document without implementing a revolving
back-up routine ... Let it be a lesson for you.

I don't believe "Recover text from any file" can recover text from Word 2007
format documents.

j446,
If you send me a copy of the document, I will take a look at it; something
may be recoverable.
