Unrecognizable Database Format

Trying to open a database but get error message "Unrecognizable database
format". Have tried the Repair and Compact Utility in Access but it still
can't open the file to repair it.

Is there any way of fixing the database so I can view the data?

Thanks in advance.

Possibly... if you've been living right, helping widows and orphans,
and are otherwise very very lucky. You might also need a functioning
credit card for a commercial data recovery service.

Check out the resources at (and linked to)

Takehome lesson: KEEP YOUR BACKUPS CURRENT. The only database that
doesn't need a backup is the one that you don't mind losing at a
moment's notice, or recreating from scratch.
