Unrecognized database format and a lock symbol

Hi All,

I have an application developed in Access 2002, distributed with a
Sagekey installer.

I have one customer on an XP machine who insists that everything has
been fine for weeks, even through a few reboots, until this morning. Now she
gets the message that the MDE file is an unrecognized database format.

She said she looked in the program directory, and the icon for the MDE
file has a blue lock symbol.

Can anyone give me a quick heads up about what might have happened?
