Unrecognized database format (Error 3343)

Hi,
I have developed a database using Access 2000 on Windows
2000 Professional. My clients are using Windows 98 and
Access 97. I got this error message when I try to open
this database on their system:

Unrecognized database format <filename>. (Error 3343)

What should I do to fix this problem? Thank you very
much!

Access 97 cannot open/run an Access 2000 database. The options are:

1 - Convert your application to Access 97; or,

2 - Convince your clients to upgrade to Access 2000 or newer.

Option 1 would seem the most do-able.
