We have a user who is receiving read receipts which they should not be
receiving and can not figure out why. This is what happens:
USER A sends message to USER B and USER C.
USER D then receives a read recipt from USER A.
USER A has not requested a read receipt from anyone and the message
USER D receives is your typical read receipt message such as:
###
From: USER A
To: USER D
Subject: Not read: Blah blah blah
Your message
To: USER B; USER C
Subject: Accepted: Blah blah blah
Sent: 2/5/2007 4:02 PM
was deleted without being read on 2/6/2007 8:34 AM.
###
This is an intermittent problem, but somedays USER D will receive
10-20 such messages in a row.
I have disabled(unchecked) the following settings in email tracking
options
Process requests and responses on arrival
Process receipts on arrival
Any help or suggestions on where to look next are greatly appreciated.
