Unsafe attachments

Actually 2 questions.

1) When I send attchments to myself from my work email they are always
removed by OE marked unsafe. Is there a preference to allow/disallow
attachments?

2) I have three mail accounts with my isp and want them all to be routed
into one inbox with three sub-inboxes so that when I reply or send a message
it will be sent by the appropriate identity. I can do this in Macintosh Mail
but so far have failed in OE on a PC. Any ideas?

thanks

This group isn't for peer support of Outlook Express, but here goes...

1) Open Outlook Express and select Tools > Options > Security. Uncheck the
box about potentially dangerous attachments. Just so you know, OE doesn't
do any real checking. It just has a hit list of file extensions (e.g.
*.exe, *.bat, *.cmd, .etc) that are the most prolific in being used to
infect machines. Therefore if you do uncheck this option, make sure you
antivirus is always up to date and scan everything before opening it.

2) Create a message rule to move items that are received under a specific
account to your sub folder. For the reply part, there should be no action
on your part because Outlook Express should reply using the account that the
item was received with. The only time I've seen this *break* in the eyes of
the user is when all the email addresses are actually delivered to the same
mailbox on the server. (By this I mean you use the same userid/password
combination to pull the messages. This means you are actually polling the
same mailbox.)
