Unsaved File Alert

Every time I shut down Vista I get an unsaved file alert from Groove
(part of Office 2007). This happens whether or not there genuinely is
an unsaved file. Any ideas?

Hi Sam -

My first suggestion is to shut down Groove and then run GrooveClean.exe
which will be in the Office12 folder. This clear out a lot of the temporary
files Groove uses, but I'm not sure if it clears out what Groove thinks of as
unsaved files.

If that doesn't work let me know - I've got something else you could try but
it's a bit more complicated.

Thanks Mark but I'm afraid that it doesn't solve the issue

What version of Groove and Windows are you using?

I think the issue may be with the 'temp' files that are created when apps
(including Groove) are running. Your issue may be irrespective of Groove
itself. I would recommend clearing your temp file folders with an utility
like 'ccleaner' (cleans temps & registry) and then 'regseeker' (more thorough
reg cleaner).

After the above cleansing, try Groove again and see if you get the same issue.
