Unsaved time disappearing from timesheet

Team members are doing the following:

Entering time on an existing task
Selecting Add a New Task without saving their work
A window opens warning them 'Are you sure you want to navigate away from
this page? Changes made to this page will not be saved.'
After they create a new task they return to the timesheet. The time they
previously entered is gone.

The user who alerted us to this swears "it didn't used to be this way," that
he didn't get this window or lose his unsaved time entries previously.

What changes on the admin side might account for this? Can I change the
settings to keep unsaved time entries if the user navigates away from the
page?

Thanks in advance.

This functionality is by design. A user must save or update their timesheet
changes before navigating away from the page or their changes will be lost.
Perhaps your users were clicking on the update button proeviously and not
realizing this also saves their changes. Unfortunately, there are no admin
settings to modify this functionality.

Thanks, that confirms my suspicions. If anyone but our software QA manager
had asked me about this I wouldn't have bothered to post, but I gave him the
benefit of the doubt.
