Somehow this slipped through Norton and Windows Defender. At the top of my
Windows Internet Explorer screen is an unsolicited row that includes 5 tabs.
The tabs are entitled "Protection bar", "Scan for spyware", "Remove adware
and popups", "SPAM protection", and "Security test". The taskbar on the
bottom right of my computer screen has two unsolicited icons. One is a blue
circle with a white-line border and a question mark in it; the other is a
flashing yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it. When I click the
blue circle a page opens to a link address of
"http://www.spylocked.com/?aff=334". When I click the yellow triangle a page
opens to a link address of "http://malwarewiped.com/?aid=247". Unsolicited
popups and internet pages open every few minutes trying to sell me security
software related to those two web pages. What can I do to get rid of all of
this? Norton and Windows Defender found spyware and removed them, but the
problem described above continues. Thanks.
