Nevermore
I have a workbook that has 11 sheets. 10 of sheets each has the following.
* 3 Pivottables & 2 Pivotchart linked to 2 Access query connections
* 2 Refreshable tables linked to 2 Access query connections
So each sheet has 5 Refreshable objects on auto-refresh timers that are
together linked to 4 differing Access 2007 queries. The Pivot charts are all
collected on 1 sheet along with textboxes displaying the other 3 values from
each of the other spreadsheets.
There are also 2 of these workbooks open simultaneously on the computer.
So when I refresh these books, eitehr through the auto-refresh timer or
through a manually triggered update, I get an "Unspecified Error" pop up,
followed by a "C:/ferrotec/Documents and Settings/My
Documents/monitor_1-10.accdb" cannot be found would you like to connect to
"C:/ferrotec/Documents and Settings/My Documents/monitor_1-10.accdb"
instead?" (And yes the two locations it gives in error are identical) Then,
regardless of if I select yes, no, or cancel on that window it pops up a
"Problems Obtaining Data" error.
The connections that it errors out like this on is seemingly random but it
does happen nearly every time.
From my own research I have seen it may be a problem with too many open
connections at one time on the computer. Which is possible with the 100+
refreshable objects in each of the 2 workbooks and 40 Active connections to
my access database per worbook. But I don't know how to close connections or
to otherwise fix this issue.
Please Help.
