Unspecified error

Microsoft Word 2007 beta..
I have tried to open a Microsoft Word document that I had saved. And I
can't open it. The error message I get reads:
Unspecified Error
Location: Part: /word/header2.xml, Line2, Column 2840

How can I fix this?
I did a nice poem for my son who's leaving tomorrow for Iraq.
And I would like to get it to him before he leaves tomorrow.

Use File, Open, select the file and then use Open and Repair (it is an
option if you click the little down arrow attached to the OPEN button).

Ok I did that, and thank you so much for the imformation. But, I now get the
message:
"The Microsoft Office Open XML file To My Son NIckolas july11,2006 cannot be
opened because there are problems with the contents.
Then if I click the details button I get the same message;
Location: Part: /word/header2.xml, Line:2, Column:2840

So now what should I do??

I'm not actually sure what to do as I am not that familiar with W2k7.
However, if you rename the file from xxx.docx to xxx.zip, you can open the
file (now a folder) in WinZip and see its individual component files that
make up the .docx that be opened independently. There should be a way to
rescue the text from the document from one of those files. But I haven't
tried this myself.
