Unstable screen display when typing

When I type an e-mail in Outlook 2007, quite often the display "jumps" to a
new position. No data are lost, but my cursor and the line I am typing on
drop out of view. This happens often and is very annoying. Anyone else
experience this? Fix? It does not happen in Word, just in Outlook.
