Untitled document in Word processor(Works ver.7.0)

When I open Word Processor & try to start a new document
an "Untitled Document" appears .This document is
something I was working on about 1 week ago & I was
interupted before I could save it.When I returned my
computer had shut down.I have tried everything to get rid
of it but still comes back.I can still work around it but
it is a nuisance & probably not doing system any
good.Does anyone know how to get rid of this pest for
good? Help,Les
