Brian Steele
Client: WinXP, MSFP2002, MS Proxy 2.0 client
Problem:
If client tries to open a FrontPage subweb by selecting File..Open Web then
entering http://servername/subweb in the "Web name" box, the client is
continuously prompted for a username and password, even though the correct
username and password are being entered. Only option is to cancel, at which
point a dialog box with the comment "You do not have permission to access
this Web Folder location" is displayed.
However, if the client tries to open the same FrontPage subweb by selecting
File..Recent Webs then selecting the http://servername/subweb entry, his
username and password are accepted and the subweb opens as expected!
Any ideas on what might be causing this?
Regards,
Brian
