Misnomer
I recently joined a group that has a problem embedding obects in Word 2003:
when "Display as icon" is selected, the text is unreadable: as though it were
magnified and stretched. It's unreadable both in the preview and in the
actual document once the object is embedded. The twist -- which we think is
somehow the problem -- is that we are accessing Windows via Sun servers
(running the Solaris OS). There's no emulation, the Sun server points the
user directly at a Windows server, but removing the Sun server from the
equation on every desktop is out of the question due to customer
requirements. This problem happens on every Sun server we have, but does not
occur on PC terminals.
Has anyone accessed Word 2003 in Windows via Solaris and had this issue? Or,
does anyone know if it's possible to change a setting somewhere to adjust the
font used for the icon label?
