Unvoidable Table Breaks

I am a teacher and trying to plan a weeks worth of lessons in one table.
However, Monday and Tuesday fill approx. half of page 1 yet wednesday is
moved to the next page as it is too long. I have had similiar problems to
this in the past and have gone to TABLE PROPERTIES and checked "Do Not Break
Across Page." However, for this table, when I go to that option it is faded
out and cannot be selected! It's annoying as you can't pages have huge blank
sections and it causes the table not to 'flow'
