Unwanted Blue Email Address

I know this has been asked a million times but my search hasn't come
up with anything.

Anyway, I was typing along (Word 2004 on an iMac running Leopard) and
I typed my email address. It shows up in blue as a hyperlink. I don't
want that. How do I make it print as regular black text? Thanks.

The best solution id to go to Tools> AutoCorrect - AutoFormat As You Type &
clear the check on "Internet paths with hyperlinks".

For an existing hyperlink, Control/Right-Click it & choose Hyperlink> Select
Hyperlink then key Shift+Command+F9 to UnLink it.
