Unwanted "command" text in Word documents

B

Bob S

I have been getting about 18 pages of the following example of text at the
end of a document. Most of the documents have come to me by email and there
are some lines of email addresses, however, I think I am getting some of this
in Word (2000) documents that I create. I can highlight and delete this but
is there a setting I can activate that will suppress this?

Go to Printer Options (Tools, Options, Print Tab) and deselect Print
Document Properties option.

Thanks Terry - this worked but the Print Document Properties box was NOT
checked to begin with. Somehow just cycling through the sequence and closing
the document (not saving it!) and then reopening it resulted in the correct
display. Very strange!

Unusual but not unknown! Sometimes the Number of Columns selection does a
similar thing too - single column is checked and displayed but Word behaves
like it is set to 2 columns.
