Unwanted conversion from number to date (during a merge)

Hi,

I have a problem with a bad conversion during a merge.

I have a data.txt which contains my datas (actually, billing datas, for
example, prices like "0.28"). And in my word document, after the merge, WORD
"transforms" the number into a date (00:00:00 00:28).

I use Windows 2000 and WORD 97. It seems to be a bug, and I don't know what
to do with it.

It anyone has a idea, it will be a great help !
