I have Windows for Mac. Word document just created has a date automatically inserted. I want to print document without this date but can't sort out how to delete it. Can you help asap. Thanks.

have you tried selecting the date. if its a an inserted (from Insert
menu) Date & Time or Field just double clicking on it to select it and
hitting delete should get rid of it.

Thanks for responding. No, I couldn't click on it. It was something I downloaded from a website to Word and the date was part of the original formatting. I figured out how to change the format and that fixed the problem.
