Unwanted line space

Monica

I am working on a several page document. At randoms
places between paragraphs there are line spaces that I
can't remove. I want everything to be single spaced, and
these double spaces pop up everywhere. I checked the
alignment and it says "top." I checked the spacing and it
says "single." I viewed the formatting and there is
clearly an extra space that I can't delete. Please help!
thanks

Monica,

Check the paragraph style spacing before and after
(Format>Paragraph). Set to 0 pt.

Monica,

...also, you might find it helpful to turn ON the paragraph
and spacing markers so that you can see where they are on
the page. It can be a great help when editing a document.

Either click the pargraph icon on the toolbar, or click

Tools | Options | View: and select All under formatting
marks. This enables you to see your tabs, spaces and line
paragraph breaks.
