unwanted line

I have a document that has a line at the bottom of the
text and no matter what I do it stays there. I keep
typing just before it and it moves with the text. I can
type past it so that it is in the middle of my text but I
want it GONE!! Help!

Likely a paragraph border. Click Format>Borders and Shading. On the
borders tab click the "none" panel on the left hand side.
