We make a program that can integrate with Word to create
outlines. Essentially, it creates an outline in Word
where each item in our program becomes a different header,
with text becoming normal text in Word. The problem is
Word (2002-SP2) inserts a page break after the first
heading + text if there are many headings below it. This
can be reproduced in Word by itself:
1) Open a new Word document
2) Insert about 40 lines (ending with RETURN)
in Normal style
3) Assign Heading1 to the first line
4) Keep line two as Normal
5) Assign Heading1 to the lines 3 - 40
==> The page break will occur after line 2.
Is there any way to prevent this? Is it a feature that I
don't know about?
Thanks.
