Unwanted Reviewer

With the edit/review mode, the list of Reviewers includes
the name Allan Stratton. I don't know who this is. How do
I delete his name from the list>? Help welcome

This came up a few months ago, and it turns out that Allan Stratton
evidently works for ScanSoft, publisher of the TextBridge OCR software. He
is present as a reviewer in TBRun97.dot (evidently ScanSoft didn't clear
this information before publishing). If you want to get rid of him, you may
have to get rid of that add-in, or perhaps you could get an updated version.
If you're using a version of Word later than 97, it probably doesn't work,
anyway.

Gerald,

If you are referring to the Track Changes options, the
names and initials from these are set from the PC of the
person doing the reviewing. This information is set at:

Tools | Options | User Information. One must enter their
username and initials in the appropriate fields. One of
your reviewers has the name Allan Stratton set there. Have
them modify it before next review. Until then, you may
want to use VBA code that can modify Allan's name.
