unwanted toolbar in Word 2002

Whenever I open a document with Word 2002, a toolbar appears (the one
called "Révision" in French; I'm not sure what the English translation
is). I have to zap it away each time. Is there a way to prevent this
happening?

Tools -> Customise -> Toolbars then un-check reviewing (I think).

It is rather annoying isn't it?
