I have been trying to install update 12.1.7 for over a year now, and it will still not work. I am running Office 2008 that I installed from a disc given to me by the University I attend, and I am currently running version 12.1.1. Microsoft Autoupdate keeps reminding me to install 12.1.7, but when I run the installer after downloading the package, the installer claims that Office is not on my system, which is obviously not true. Anybody know why this would happen?
