update access 97 with office XP installed

I have Office XP installed on my machine ,I also have
Aceess 97 installed. Both Access 2002 and Access 97 are
running on the same pc.
Now, Can I do an office update only on Access 97 without
screw up the Office XP?

I didn't have a problem when running both, the office update site found
required updates for both.
Although the recommendation is to install earliest version, update, prior to
installing later version
