I am currently using Outlook, BCM and Microsoft Accounting (MSA) and am happy
so far with the link between Accounts and MSA, however i'm not sure how the
link between the Accounts and the contacts is supposed to work. I would like
to update one address in the Account (or wherever would work the best) and
have it update ALL my addresses for that client in the three connected
systems. I'm not sure why, other than to put in phone numbers for
individuals, these should be connected if they don't actually sync and update
each other. Should contacts be used for phone numbers only? I'm already
unhappy with the fact I can only connect a Contact to one Account, because
for my business use this is a HUGE downside due to the fact that we work for
individuals, who often have separate accounts for businesses, children,
trusts and other matters so we often have only one person to contact for a
number of the "accounts" we do and have to update several account's contacts
so that all the accounts will have the correct contact, so I would hope that
at the very least everything that is connected could update somehow. I'm not
sure if I just need an update or am not updating the correct record or if
there's a way to set it so that the addresses are linked or if there really
is no way to update the contact, account and MSA all together.
