update and publisher

When I tried to install the Office Update it asked for the
Publisher CD in order to complete the update. Why? I don't
have that CD any more. How can I continue the updating?

Also, the junk mail feature will not work on my computer.
It says the security setting do not allow me to use that
option. Any idea how I can get it to work?

Hi, maven,

Uninstall Publisher, and the Installer won't ask for the CD any longer. The
updater is trying to Update Publisher and requires the original CD in order
to do so.
