Update as scheduled

Does anyone know why when you click on the "update as
scheduled" icon that the % complete columns do not update?

Hello Jay,

What is the Status Date for your project : you set the Status Date in
Project / Project Information.
The "Update as scheduled" icon calculates the "% Complete" for each task
which has some remaining duration at the left (in the past) of the status
date.

10/1/03 - 1/23/04. This should return a result of ~60% but
I'm not getting any number

What %... hare you using :
- % Complete (% of duration)
- % Work Complete (% of Work)
- Physical % complete

The first one must work fine, even if there is no resource assigned !

I copied the data into a new task and then chose the

icon. Imagine my surprise (not) when the task updated
correctly. Another MS gremlin?
