update baseline

hello ,

it is really urgent!
I want to know if it is possible to update baseline with the use of
PSI ?
I thought that I can use projectUpdate method but I found out that
baseline property is missed in ProjectDataSet.Task.
In other hand, I found baseline field in the reportingDB. but updating
data in DB directly is not good !

Any idea please?

A possible reason you can't do this via PSI is that it shouldn't be done
from a process point of view so Microsoft excluded it (on the other hand
they might have forgotten it!!). Baselines should only be set in a schedule
at an agreed and known point. For example after the schedule for the next
iteration or phase has been agreed.

If you do want to set a baseline for all projects that don't have a baseline
set already because the process and training isn't in place then use VBA
from an Admin account to open each project, and save the baseline.
