Update Blocking E-mail

I am getting very frustrated now as I have received no reply to my second
posting. I have proved that it was the Windows Update, not Norton causing my
problem. If Norton is blocking the E-mail then it is obvious therefore
something in the Windows Update has caused it.
May I draw your attention to "Karen's" posting 17/01/06 and my subsequent
reply to her.
