Update cache status in MSP 2007

Hi,

After suffering from the checkin pending problem I've decided to install
sniffer on the netwrok and examine the transportation between the client to
Project server 2007.
I saw that after check in a project, the client wait about 30 seconds until
requesting about the queue status.

The delay between check in to the status request is changed from one
environment to other.

Does anyone know how can I change this parameter?
