Update CD

Does anyone know of an update CD you can buy (my boss said he saw it for sale
for $10), that already has SP3 and all updates? We have Office XP
Professional but once we did the updates after SP3, the device manager was
missing. Would like to re-install XP without having to do ALL the updates,
if possible.

Exactly what Device Manager are you refering to?

If you have an Office disk, you can created a slipstreamed installation cd
containing the latest updates - google for Office Slipstream for
instuctions.

Since OfficeXP went out of production some years ago, you could only source
an OfficeXP cd from Ebay or similar

Click on Office XP, scroll down on the next page to where it says, "How to
obtain the latest Office XP service pack from the Microsoft Download
Center", download the service pack you want, burn that to CD, and then save
it with your original copy of the program. If you've kept Office XP for
this long you will undoubtedly want to reinstall it again, and again. "The
device manager was missing" doesn't make sense.
