update charts in design view

Hi,

I have a number of reports with various charts pulling data from various
queries.
The data changes constantly and the charts when in report view reflect the
updates.
When I activate the chart in design view I don’t see the updates reflected
in report view.
In order to get the same updates I have to copy the data from the row source
feeding the chart, then copy and paste it into the data sheet of the chart.
Is there any way I can get the same view of the chart both in report view
and design view?
