Update % Complete Problem-Urgent!!!

When assigning tasks to enterprise resources, then publishing them and having
the resource update the Work % Complete, and finally processing the Updates,
I am seeing some strange behavior.

I was testing this process (I'm and Administrator) by assigning myself a
task, providing 50% complete in PWA, and processing the Update, the 50%
complete does not roll back into the project plan, even though I get a
message saying it is successful. I did another test, and Notes, do roll all
the way through just fine.

Any idea? I'm stumped, and have no Event Viewer or Spooler errors.

There's an Options setting in Microsoft Project Professional that is usually
the culprit in this situation. Refer to the following link for the probable

Thanks for the quick response!

Already had that set....I know this company is not SP1, and the Resource
Center in PWA is not working....page comes up with aa nastygram from IIS.
Personally, my feeling is it is system related, but I'll try just about
anything at this point.

Given the fact that your system is not working properly, you might want to
examine the server's application event log and look for errors, and then
post any errors you see. That way some of our technical specialisits can
look at the errors and perhaps diagnose your problem. Let us know and we
will try to help.

Thanks, Dale. YOu know, I check those already - SPOTLESS. I've never seen
them spotless....no messsages at all. At this point I'm going to get SP1 on
the system, get the resources functions in PWA working and retry. I'll
update the group on progress and thank you for the assistance.

can't figure out why it's happening.
