Update Contacts

We are running Outlook from an Exchange server. We have a Global Address
list. I have created a Personal Contacts list from the Global address list.
There are massive phone number changes. These are shown in the Global
Address List but have not been updated in the Contacts List. Is there a way
to update my Contacts
information from the Global list without having to do each one seperately.

Thanks & Regards,
Dinu

If you have access to the entries in the GAL, why would you want them in
your Contacts folder as well? They're redundant.

Contacts in GAL has all the users in the organization. But i have saved few
of the most important contacts in my personal outlook contacts for easy
access. But there seems to be few changes in the phone number and other
details and i would like to update my personal contacts as well.

If the GAL entry gets updated, delete your copy in the Contacts folder and
add the GAL entry again.

Even when offline, the GAL is available if you configure Outlook to download
it when online. I still don't see a need to copy GAL entries to Contacts.
