Hello,
I have Office 2000 installed on Windows 98 SE... and have
been running update detection on a somewhat frequent
basis. Successfully installed upto, and
including, "Outlook 2000 Update: December 18, 2002" - this
was quite a while ago.
Now, Office update site shows that I have to install SR-
1a, SP3 and the Outlook update. But I already have
these. SP3 shows up in the Office products, ex: Word
Help -> About has "Microsoft Word 2000 (9.0.6926 SP-3)".
And the Outlook update, when downloaded and run, claims it
is already present.
I read the FAQ that described the problem with SR-1a
installed before July 2001 not being fully applied. So I
downloaded and tried to install SR-1a. But this install
exits claiming SR-1a is already present.
Catch-22. How do I convince Office update that I have SR-
1a, SP-3 and the Outlook update?
Thanks,
Rak.
