Update equation output only by save.

Some users in my office have problems with excel, where an outcome of an
equation is only displayed when you hit save. It happens in old files and new
files. I trashed all preferences and even tried it on a brand new instal of OS
9.2.2 to no change. It seems that more and more people are being efffected
by this. It also does not happen all the time, leading me to believe that one
of the files is effecting others..

This happens in Office 2001 with 9.0.4 update installed in OS 9.2.2. Any
ideas? What is it in the files that could cause this?

Sounds like Calculation is set to manual. Before Save does a recalc giving
you the right answer. Check preferences, Calculations.
