Update O XP

I have Office XP 2002. I just reformated the HD and
reinstalled everything. Did all the updates to get back
up. Now I can't even check for updates on the desktop.
It seems that window installer version changed in the
process and is blocking. I can't find a work around for
this. any body else had this problem?

Hi, Bean,

Are you getting an error message? When you say you can't check for updates
on the desktop, are you talking about Windows updates? How do you know you
can't check--what are the symptoms? What is your operating system? Which
version of Office XP is installed?
