Update Oct 2005: DW6000 and FrontPage

I am surprised and disappointed to be back at this forum with the same
issue. All of us were having having issues with the then-new DW6000
not allowing the editing of FrontPage websites a year ago, except by
telephone line. All of a sudden after 9 months, the issue cleared; no
official verbiage from Earthlink or DirecWay. Well here we are
again... around the end of August/first part of Sept 2005, the issue
reoccurs. Same work-around, only successful via telephone.

During my research tonight I keep running into a "DW7000" that was
released around the same time the DW6000 web-edit issue reoccured. At
this point I don't know what the DW7000 is or have seen any postings
regarding this FrontPage issue.

The last time the issue disappeared, no one left a post to let us know
what happened. If this problem clears itself again, PLEASE leave a
post to advise us of what happened. Thank you.

Unfortunately Direcway points the finger at FrontPage, so it would be helpful
to know why FrontPage might react this way with this type of connection. It
seems that the folks at Direcway can only parrot simple answers relating to
Internet Explorer.
