Hi!
I am publishing my forms to sharepoint 2007, in test environment
directly to a document library, in productive environment
"Administrator-approved form template" is used.
Now, I changed a column in the publishing wizard. I allowed users to
edit that field using the properties page. This works when I publish
it directly to the server. The column values become editable in the
properties page.
It does not work, when I publish an xsn file and upload it later to a
sharepoint server using stsadm. The property never becomes editable.
To reproduce:
Create a sharepoint form with a simple text field and a button. Create
a data connection and submit directly to the document library. I
usually use the field + a date as File name.
Publish the form, "Administrator-approved form template", bind the
field to a column, don't make it editable. In the edit item page only
the name is seen.
Publish the form again, but this time modify the column and set
editable to true. Still not editable.
Now, publish directly to the document library. The field has become
editable.
Is this a bug?
Thanks, Christoph
