Update Office 2007 to SP1 on 2008 Server

Hello,

I want to update my Office 2007 to SP1 on my Windows 2008 Server SP1.

If I start the SP1 pack, I get the message that the expected product
version was not found on the system.

What can I do about this?

Thank you!

Regards,
uwe

How and where did you put Office 2007 (suite ????) on your system. Was it a downloaded Trial version or a Retail or MSDN.

Interesting that the OP states he has Windows Server SP1 - I was not aware that the server was RTMd let alone SPd already.

thank you for your answers.

The server and Office (suite) are both the most current from MSDN and
installed under the administrator account.

Windows 2008 Server has the version SP1 from the beginning, because MS
wants to sync the version of Vista and Server 2008, as the server has
SP1 enhancements already it is called SP1.

Thank you.
