Update OfficeXP to 2003

Initially I deployed OfficeXp with GPO's to my various users, some
published some assigned. I am looking to roll out Office2k3 now and am
wondering the best route to take. Remove the install for XP and add 2k3?
Or just add 2k3 and tell it to upgrade XP? Any advice would be appreciated.
