Update on PowerPoint Live

R

Rick Altman

We are looking forward to meeting the many newsgroup members who have
already registered for the debut of PowerPoint Live, October 12-15 in
Tucson AZ. We are tremendously enthused by the response from all
corners of the user community:

- We have added several immensely talented presenters
to the team. We are featuring the work of one of
them at our home page, www.altman.com, this month.

- All of the seminars and workshops are detailed at
the Seminar Schedule page of the website, with PDF
links to fully-formatted outlines.

- Microsoft has authorized us to show the new version
of the application at the event, and we are preparing
several presentations around it.

- We are signing up lots of sponsors and exhibitors, whom
we will threaten with bodily harm if they do not make
large contributions of goodies to our prize chest.

- And we have some great social events on tap, including
a trip to Tucson's fabled Trail Dust Town (think big
steaks, old-time shops, and a staged western shootout)
and a Tuesday night banquet, courtesy of the newsgroup's
own Kathy Jacobs.

Early pricing officially ended today, however we are extending it
throughout this weekend. So if you register for the event anytime
before when Sunday midnight turns to Monday, you'll qualify for the
$750 price.

Hope to see many of you there -- it will be a wonderful time...!
